My Journey in Detail-Focused Photography
I’m a photographer deeply drawn to quiet moments, natural light, and the kind of details you only notice when you slow down. Much of my work, including my event photography, is rooted in observation—how light moves, how emotion sits in a frame, and how a single moment can tell a larger story.
Alongside photography, I also compose music, and the two practices are deeply connected for me. Music teaches me rhythm, timing, and restraint—knowing when to build, when to hold back, and when to let space speak. I find the same principles in photography. A strong image, much like a piece of music, has cadence. It has balance. It has pauses that matter just as much as the highlights.
When I’m behind the camera, especially during live event photography, I often think in terms of composition the same way I think in sound—layers, harmony, tension, and release. A photograph, like a song, isn’t just about what’s included, but what’s intentionally left out.
